MANNA

A Conference for Women

September 5-6

Join us as we gather as women in all seasons and stages of life to corporately focus on God’s daily provision for us in our unique cultural moment. Through keynote teaching sessions, breakouts led by our own RCC women, singing, and enjoying meals together, we hope to be reminded of what manna symbolizes:

God’s abundant mercy and sufficient grace no matter our circumstances.

Limited seats available

Angela Shelton

Keynote

Angela Shelton is the Founder and Executive Director of Connection Point Biblical Counseling and Training Center in Covington. She is passionate about seeing the Spirit of God apply the Word of God to the struggles and sufferings of others. Angela graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Psychology and received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. She is in the final stages of completing a Phd in Biblical Counseling and Practical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Angela is married to Brad, and their ten children and two grandchildren are a delight! When her nose is not in a book, you can find Angela in her garden growing unusual vegetables or contemplating her next home improvement project.

Rachael Long

Keynote

Rachael Long is the Executive Director of the Newton Pregnancy Resource Center (NPRC). Prior to coming to NPRC, Rachael served as Area Coordinator for Bible Study Fellowship and as a Prevention Specialist in Rockdale County Public Schools. She has taught Sunday School at First Baptist Covington for 20 years and teaches Women of the Word, a semiannual doctrine-focused women’s conference at FBC. She is passionate about women understanding theology. If you ask Rachael what her life goal is, she will say, “To know and love Jesus, and to somehow bring him glory in this broken vessel that I am.” Rachael and her husband, Charlie, have been married for 36 years. They have three children, two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and eight grandchildren. Their quiver is full!

Jessica Rollins

Jessica Rollins longs for the truth of Jesus’ finished work on the cross to touch the hearts of people through the wonderful avenue of music. As a native Georgian, she has led music in a worship capacity for over 25 years. Formerly at Rockdale Community Church in Conyers, Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, and Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, she now makes her home in Watkinsville, Georgia, and is the Music Director at Oconee Presbyterian Church. Jessica is also a visual artist who specialized in wall murals and commissioned art for 17 years. Creating abstract art has become her passion over the last 10 years. She and her husband, Kevin, have two beautiful children adopted from South America. They enjoy nature and anything farm related. Harvesting homegrown tomatoes from their garden and collecting fresh eggs from their chickens are favorite family activities.
