Rockdale Community Church is sending a missions team to Kenya. We will be working with Martha and Imbumi Makuku at their church, Kibera Reformed Presbyterian Church, in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. 

This will be a sports and music camp for youth-aged kids. Our theme will be Worship in Spirit and Truth. We will have times of praise, worship and Bible teaching focused on our whole lives being devoted to worshipping God interwoven throughout the sports clinics. 

We ask for your prayers as we prepare to go. The trip will be at the end of July and into the first part of August. Pray for our hearts to be surrendered to the Lord’s direction in how we can best be used to serve there. Pray that we will have servants’ hearts ready to step into whatever roles and tasks we are asked to do. Pray for unity within the team that is going. Pray for energy as the camp days will be long! Please pray that God would provide the financial means needed for us to be able to make this trip.
